YOUR MISSION

As Team Head Sales Operations, you will lead Sales Operations support across all PUMA’s Accounts, enabling revenue growth, profitable execution and customer value creation. Acting as a senior commercial partner to Account leaders, driving profitable revenue growth by translating commercial strategy into effective sales operations, insight-led decision making, and scalable ways of working across accounts.

Key Responsibilities (Sales/Commercial Aligned)

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Sales Operations team that enables sales effectiveness and account performance

  • Partner with Account Team Heads to drive account planning, forecasting, prioritisation and execution

  • Enable profitable growth by supporting full-account P&L thinking in collaboration with Finance and Sales leadership

  • Own Sales Operations focus areas including Direct Deliveries, VAS, Purchasing and Sustainability, ensuring they support commercial outcomes

  • Drive sales insight and performance management, embedding data literacy, standard KPIs and consistent reporting across accounts

  • Align data and reporting consistencies

  • Establish and maintain a consistent and trusted view of performance by working with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain (driving a single source of truth), building on existing reporting frameworks and commercial visibility

  • Improve sales efficiency by simplifying processes, reducing non-value-adding activity and removing friction for customers and sales teams

  • Shift reporting from retrospective to forward‑looking insight, using forecasting and proactive, decision‑led analytics. Strengthening forecast modelling and financial planning alignment to support informed commercial decisions

  • Reinforce collaboration through consistent commercial and operational planning frameworks

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, capacity release and automation, building on workload analysis, process reviews and tool optimisation

  • Champion sales tools, technologies and ways of working that improve pipeline quality, planning accuracy and decision-making

  • Support the evolution of reporting and analytics towards more forward-looking insight and forecasting, extending existing planning and modelling approaches

  • Lead workload analysis, process reviews, and tool optimisation initiatives

  • Deliver clear commercial insights and performance updates to senior leadership and global stakeholders

  • Ensure insight is embedded into decision-making and governance, strengthening the link between performance visibility, commercial decisions and execution

  • Supporting clear commercial operating ways of working (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with cross-functional planning frameworks

YOUR TALENT
  • Proven senior Sales Operations or commercial leader with strong understanding of sales strategy and execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect activity to revenue, margin and customer value.
  • Highly analytical and confident translating sales data into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Influential communicator with executive presence and strong cross‑functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel capability; Power BI or similar sales analytics tools highly desirable.
