About the role

At Very, we believe great people create great experiences. That's why our Talent & Development team plays such an important role in helping our people grow, develop and perform at their best. 

We're looking for a Talent & Development Partner to help shape and deliver our talent, learning and organisational development agenda. Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll identify capability needs, build development solutions and drive initiatives that support both our people and our strategy. 

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking with people development and wants to make a visible impact across the organisation.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Partnering with leaders to identify development and organisational needs. 
  • Designing and delivering talent, learning and organisational development initiatives. 
  • Driving leadership, succession and talent management activity across the business. 
  • Coaching leaders and colleagues to build capability and performance. 
  • Facilitating engaging workshops, programmes and leadership discussions. 
  • Bringing external insight, innovation and best practice into our Talent & Development approach. 
  • Using data and feedback to continuously improve the impact of our programmes. 
  • Building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. 
About you

You'll be an experienced Talent, Learning & Development or Organisational Development professional who thrives in a fast-paced, commercial environment. 

You'll also bring: 

  • Experience designing and delivering impactful development solutions. 
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills. 
  • The confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. 
  • A commercially minded approach and the ability to align people initiatives to business outcomes. 
  • Curiosity, creativity and a passion for continuous improvement. 
  • Experience using AI and digital tools to enhance learning and productivity. 
  • A genuine commitment to helping people realise their potential.

Please note that the talent acquisition team are managing this vacancy directly, and if successful in securing this role, you will be required to undertake a credit, CIFAS, Right to Work checks and if a specific requirement of your role a DBS (criminal records) check. Our talent acquisition team will be in touch if you’re successful so keep an eye on your emails! We’ll arrange a short call to learn more about you, as well as answer any questions you have. If it feels like we’re a good match, we’ll share your CV with the hiring manager to review. Our interview process is tailored to each role and can be in-person or held remotely.  

You can expect a two stage interview process for this position:  

1st stage - An informal 30-45 minute video call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the role and to ask any questions you may have.  

2nd stage – A one-hour formal face-to-face interview where you can expect a task and values based competency questions.
