Your team

This role is part of our Talent Acquisition team who are dedicated to finding extraordinary talent for IG.  We are a team of Talent Scouts who know where and how to find exceptional talent.

Your role in the Team's Success

We're looking for a skilled Contract Recruiter to enhance our recruitment strategy and deliver exceptional talent to IG. Identify effective recruitment channels and methods for a wide variety of  different position types.  Work to improve our time-to-hire and cost -per-hire metrics through data-driven recommendations

What you'll do

  • Source and identify high-calibre candidates for specialist FinTech roles through networking, social media, and industry events
  • Build and nurture relationships with passive candidates
  • Stay current with emerging UK FinTech trends, regulatory changes (e.g., FCA regulations), and how they impact talent requirements and market competitiveness
  • Develop deep understanding of technical skills within payments, blockchain, Crypto, RegTech, InsurTech, and digital banking specific to the UK market
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand precise technical and cultural requirements for hard-to-fill positions in the rapidly evolving FinTech landscape
  • Map talent at competitor organisations and identify potential candidates from adjacent industries with transferable skills relevant to FinTech

What you'll need for this role

Key Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on digital or fintech roles.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial services and FinTech landscape, including knowledge of major players and emerging companies
  • Familiarity with technical skills and roles specific to FinTech
  • Working knowledge of UK employment law, GDPR requirements, and best practices for compliant recruitment
  • Proficiency with modern recruitment technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday.
  • Experience with boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing methodologies
