The Opportunity
Talent is our #1 bottleneck to growth—this role exists to remove it.

We are building a $100M+ group of industrial businesses with global ambition. To get there, we need a "talent engine" that proactively hunts for niche experts rather than waiting for applications. This isn't about filling seats; it’s about securing the top 10% of talent for every role.

This is a rare opportunity to join a founder-led business that actually "gets" recruitment. You will have the budget, the tools, and the mandate to protect our A-player hiring standard.

The Role
Your mission is to run a disciplined talent engine that finds and secures the A-players we need to grow.

Your accountabilities will include:
·  Targeted Talent Hunting: Execute direct head-hunting and market mapping to access the best specialised talent.
·  Pipeline Engine Mastery: Drive the daily flow of candidates through a modern ATS, ensuring 100% data accuracy and a 24-hour response time.
·  Assessment Rigor: Conduct phone screens and structured interviews to identify A-Players who match our core values.
·  Concierge Candidate Experience: Own the journey from first touchpoint to the first day, ensuring zero "buyer's remorse".
·  Executive Search Support: Provide high-level coordination and data support for leadership searches.

You will report to the Head of People & Performance as part of a small, high-trust team. You will work directly with the Founder and our senior Hiring Managers to define success and deliver the right people for critical roles.

Who You Are
You are a sharp, organized recruiter who takes 100% responsibility for finding the right fit rather than the first available.

You will have:
·  Significant Professional Experience: You are an established recruiter with a deep track record in end-to-end hiring and significant recent in-house exposure.
·  Broad Industrial Recruitment Background: Experience across diverse functions including Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
·  Advanced Sourcing Skills: Expertise in search and creative market mapping to find passive talent.
·  Mental Sharpness: The ability to quickly grasp technical complexity across multiple different roles simultaneously.
·  A "Straight Talk" Communication Style: You provide honest, direct feedback and avoid BS.

You will be a strong fit for our Beaver core values: https://www.beaverprocess.com.au/careers/.

Red Flags – this role is not for you if you:
·  Hire based on "gut feel": If the objective data and assessments don't match, it is a "No".
·  Use filters or quotas: We hire exclusively for merit; any preference based on anything other than "the best person for the job" falls short of our standard.
·  "Post-and-Pray": If you lack the drive to hunt passive talent and prefer to wait for applications, you will fail here.
·  Are an HR Generalist: This is a dedicated recruitment engine; we are not looking for someone wanting to pivot into generalist HR tasks.

Why Join Us?
Recruitment is a respected, high-trust function at Beaver that drives our most critical strategic goals.

What makes this role special:
·  Elite Quality Focus: We do not just fill seats; we only hire true A-Players using a structured, proven process.
·  Full Resource Access: You will have the budget and direct access to every tool needed to be effective, including LinkedIn Recruiter and a modern ATS.
·  High Trust & Direct Access: Work side-by-side with the Founder and senior Hiring Managers in a flat, "No BS" environment.
·  Convenience & Autonomy: Modern Embleton office with free on-site parking, a part-time Monday–Friday option, and 1–2 days of remote flexibility for proven high-performers.

How to Apply
We are looking for a serious recruiter who wants to be part of building something great.

Apply with your resume and a cover letter (in your own words) addressing:
·  Your Motivation: Why does our "A-Player" philosophy and "No BS" culture appeal to you?
·  Your Suitability: Why your head, heart, and briefcase is the right fit for this specific role?
·  Your Career Vision: What do you want from your career and how does this role fit that?
