What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll play a central part in shaping how we attract and hire talent into our organisation. You’ll partner closely with leaders, including executive level, to coach and educate them on strategic workforce planning, building a clear understanding of their current and future priorities. Using your external market knowledge and insight, you’ll identify emerging skill gaps and capability risks, shaping proactive recruitment strategies and determining where we need to build sustainable talent pipelines for the future.
You’ll be accountable for strategic oversight and effectiveness of high-quality recruitment delivery from end to end: setting direction for engaging attraction strategies, inclusive assessment approaches, and talent pipeline development, and ensuring a consistent and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. You’ll coach and develop Talent Acquisition Advisers, ensuring high standards, consistency and best practice is embedded across delivery.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to show us that you’ve got the skills and capabilities. You’ll have to meet the following minimum criteria:
Minimum Criteria:
Strategic talent acquisition expertise, demonstrable experience operating as a Talent Acquisition Partner, with accountability for setting direction, assuring quality and shaping strategic talent attraction and pipeline approaches aligned to organisation priorities.
Insight led workforce and recruitment decision making, strong evidence of using external market insight, forecasting and recruitment analytics to advise stakeholders on recruitment priorities, identify capability risks, and balance short-term delivery with longer-term workforce planning.
Senior stakeholder influence and credibility, proven ability to partner with and influence senior leaders, providing credible challenge, shaping recruitment decisions, and acting as a trusted adviser rather than a transactional service provider.
Proven track record of partnering with various corporate functions, such as IT, finance, communications, HR, legal with a strong focus on recruiting for hard to fill or specialised roles. Or proven track record of partnering with operations to effectively manage high-volume recruitment campaigns.
Proven delivery of inclusive recruitment, experience designing or overseeing inclusive evidence-based recruitment approaches, ensuring robust assessment, consistency, and best practice governance across recruitment delivery
Experience of leading strategic Talent Acquisition improvements or projects, including managing people through workstreams.
It would also be nice for you to have
Demonstrated experience of coaching and developing professionals, setting clear standards, embedding best practice, and enabling high quality delivery through others.
