We’re looking for our first Talent Acquisition hire to take ownership of the quality bar for Magentic. You will be the steward of talent, bringing in people who raise the standard, strengthen our culture, and can thrive in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment. You’ll join early, work closely with the founders and founding team, and play a defining role in shaping who we become by ensuring every hire meaningfully improves the company.

We’re pushing the boundaries of AI with next-generation agentic systems that can manage entire procurement workflows. Our mission is to make global manufacturing supply chains robust to an ever-changing world - that’s a $3tn market opportunity.

If that’s not exciting enough - we’re backed by world-class investors including Sequoia Capital, and you’d be working along a super talented team which brings together expertise from OpenAI, Meta, Revolut, NASA and McKinsey (and that’s just the first 11 people!).

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute on hiring processes that maintain the extremely high bar set by our current team

  • Creatively source and attract top-tier talent from the UK and beyond

  • Drive the development of our employer brand

  • Own the candidate experience and onboarding process for new joiners

  • Continuously identify, evaluate, and implement best-in-class recruiting and AI-enabled tools, while preserving a high-quality, human-centred candidate experience

  • Work on topics across People and Operations - we intend to remain a lean team as we scale and this is enabled by broad role scopes

You Might Be a Great Fit if You

  • Have worked in-house at an early stage through rapid scaling

  • Have hired for a variety of roles - technical and commercial

  • Have hired for VP+ level positions

  • Have experience across the full recruitment lifecycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing) and in designing and implementing recruitment processes and tools (e.g., applicant tracking systems)

  • Have built a strong employer brand in the past

  • Can communicate clearly with both engineering and commercial stakeholders

Compensation and Benefits

At Magentic, we recognise and reward the talent that drives our success. We offer:

  • Competitive Equity: play a real part in Magentic’s upside

  • A salary of £100,000-£110,000

  • Enhanced parental leave

  • 25 days holiday exc bank holidays, plus an extra day for our Christmas shutdown

  • In-office lunches provided

  • Salary sacrifice pension and nursery schemes

  • Hybrid London HQ (3-4 days in the office/customer site)

  • Annual team retreat—a fully-funded off-site to recharge, bond, and build
