Welcome to the video first world

From your everyday PowerPoint presentations to Hollywood movies, AI will transform the way we create and consume content. Today, people want to watch and listen, not read — both at home and at work.

Despite the clear preference for video, communication and knowledge sharing in the business environment are still dominated by text, largely because high-quality video production remains complex and challenging to scale—until now….

Meet Synthesia

We're on a mission to make video easy for everyone. Born in an AI lab, our AI video communications platform simplifies the entire video production process, making it easy for everyone, regardless of skill level, to create, collaborate, and share high-quality videos. Whether it's for delivering essential training to employees and customers or marketing products and services, Synthesia enables large organizations to communicate and share knowledge through video quickly and efficiently. We’re trusted by leading brands such as Heineken, Zoom, Xerox, McDonald’s and more. Read stories from happy customers and what 1,200+ people say on G2.

In February 2024, G2 named us as the fastest growing company in the world. We've recently raised our Series D. This brings our total funding to $330M from top-tier investors, including Accel, Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, Google and top founders and operators including Stripe, Datadog, Miro, Webflow, and Facebook.

About the role

At Synthesia, hiring the right people is essential to our success. We’re looking for a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition team and help grow our product, R&D, and engineering departments. You won’t just fill roles; you’ll shape how we attract, assess, and secure world-class talent, ensuring our hiring strategies support Synthesia’s next phase of growth.

As we plan to nearly double our technical teams in the next year, you’ll own end-to-end hiring for key roles such as Fullstack Engineers, Product Managers, and AI Researchers. You'll lead processes from sourcing to offer acceptance and ensure we're delivering a best in class hiring manager and candidate experience.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll partner with hiring managers, leverage data-driven insights, refine recruitment strategies, and elevate our employer brand. In doing so, you’ll help shape the future of Synthesia and ensure we continue to attract exceptional talent for our next phase of growth.

Our current hiring stack includes: Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Metaview, candidate.fyi, Synthesia, Certn, SeekOut

Requirements:
  • Proven track record hiring exceptional technical talent for scaling organisations
  • A few years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, ideally some in-house experience
  • Strong technical understanding, beyond buzzwords, to engage meaningfully with both hiring managers and candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues with, and refine recruitment processes
  • Creative sourcing skills for uncovering hard-to-find talent
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Critical thinker and problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth settings
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional, inclusive candidate experience
  • Ability to leverage data and metrics to continually refine recruitment strategies and drive informed hiring decisions
Our culture

At Synthesia we’re passionate about building, not talking, planning or politicising. We strive to hire the smartest, kindest and most unrelenting people and let them do their best work without distractions. Our work principles serve as our charter for how we make decisions, give feedback and structure our work to empower everyone to go as fast as possible. You can find out more about these principles here.
