Department: People
Reports to: Director of Talent Acquisition
Position Type: Full-time

Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager for the UK & Ireland is responsible for leading and delivering recruitment across portfolio companies operating in the UK and Ireland. This role combines hands-on recruiting, stakeholder advisory, and change enablement—often in organisations navigating early PMI, evolving hiring maturity, or traditional structures.

You will work across a variety of hiring environments, from conservative and legacy businesses to modern software companies scaling at pace. Success requires strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to bring clarity, structure, and consistency to busy or ambiguous situations.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Delivery
  • Own end-to-end hiring for UK&I portfolio companies across technical, commercial, operational, and leadership roles.

  • Build tailored recruitment strategies aligned to each company’s maturity, culture, and hiring environment.

  • Conduct sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer support across phone, video, and in-person formats.

  • Leverage AI-driven tools (such as sourcing agents, interview notetakers, and workflow automation) to increase speed, accuracy, and pipeline quality.

  • Proactively build and maintain talent pools in Ashby and LinkedIn, including SaaS-focused.

  • Continuously evaluate pipeline data, time-to-hire, conversion ratios, and sourcing performance to guide decision-making.

Stakeholder Partnership
  • Act as a hiring consultant—advising stakeholders, guiding role definition, and ensuring alignment throughout the process.

  • Adapt communication style to a wide range of leaders (conservative, founder-led, SaaS-native, or PMI-heavy environments).

  • Manage difficult or resistant stakeholders with clear, transparent, and structured communication.

  • Set expectations early, keep stakeholders informed, and build trust through consistent updates and insights.

Operational Excellence & Projects
  • Contribute to cross-regional TA initiatives including employer branding, dashboard reporting, interview structure, and capability building.

  • Support the implementation and adoption of Workday and other TA systems; troubleshoot where needed.

  • Experiment with and embed AI-enabled improvements into sourcing, interview preparation, reporting, and recurring TA workflows.

  • Partner with TA leadership and regional TA Managers to share insights and drive continuous improvement.

  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure efficient use of tools, assessments, and external partners.

Change Enablement Across Portfolio Companies
  • Quickly explain Everfield’s hiring approach to newly acquired companies and help them integrate it into their operations.

  • Adjust processes to suit company-specific contexts while maintaining consistency in quality and delivery.

  • Navigate environments where interviewers have limited availability or where hiring maturity varies significantly.

QualificationsMust-Have
  • 5+ years of end-to-end recruiting experience, ideally in fast-growing or multi-country environments.

  • Strong expertise with UK labor markets and local hiring nuances.

  • Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.

  • High adaptability: able to work with different cultures, levels of hiring maturity, and shifting priorities.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills, paired with a data-driven working style.

  • Fluency in English

  • Demonstrable experience using AI tools across the TA lifecycle (e.g., AI sourcing tools, automated outreach, interview note-taking, workflow automation).

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in Executive Hiring.

  • Recruiting experience in software/SaaS or commercial functions.

  • Proficiency with Ashby ATS.

  • Experience supporting or leading hiring during PMI phases.

What Success Looks Like
  • You build trust quickly with diverse leaders—founders, CEOs, MDs, and hiring managers.

  • You communicate proactively and clearly, even when information is incomplete.

  • You operate hands-on and autonomously, bringing clarity and structure to busy or chaotic environments.

  • You use AI fluently to remove bottlenecks, increase throughput, and enhance candidate and stakeholder experience.

  • You consistently use data and insights to guide decisions, influence stakeholders, and forecast hiring needs.

  • You adapt seamlessly to different organisational cultures and ways of working.

  • You consistently deliver high-quality hiring outcomes while improving processes along the way.

Why Join Everfield
  • Shape the hiring approach for a growing ecosystem of software companies across Europe.

  • Work autonomously while being part of a highly supportive and collaborative TA team.

  • Operate in a varied, intellectually stimulating environment—from modern SaaS scale-ups to traditional family-owned companies.

  • Make a meaningful impact by helping acquired companies elevate their hiring maturity and talent strategy.
