We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our HR team at BakerHicks on a maternity cover contract.

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Team, you’ll play an important role in keeping our recruitment activity running smoothly. From supporting hiring managers and coordinating interviews to managing applications and keeping candidates informed, you’ll help make sure everyone has a professional, efficient and positive experience of BakerHicks.

This is much more than simply an administration role.
You’ll be involved across the recruitment lifecycle for both permanent and contract recruitment, as well as taking responsibility for coordinating our Early Careers recruitment activity.

It’s a varied role where no two days are quite the same, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable managing multiple priorities and takes pride in getting the detail right.

As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you’ll:
  • Coordinate recruitment for permanent and contract vacancies.
  • Manage recruitment activity through our ATS.
  • Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Arrange interviews and manage candidate communications.
  • Review and screen applications against role requirements.
  • Advertise vacancies across relevant recruitment channels.
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate Early Careers recruitment activity.
  • Liaise with HR on recruitment and onboarding updates.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys bringing organisation to a busy recruitment environment and who understands how much difference good communication can make to a candidate’s experience. You’ll be comfortable speaking with people at all levels, from candidates making their first enquiry through to hiring managers and senior stakeholders. You’ll also be able to balance competing priorities without losing sight of the detail.

You don’t necessarily need to have done exactly the same role before, but you’ll need a good understanding of recruitment processes, processing candidates through an ATS and the confidence to quickly become a trusted point of contact for candidates and hiring teams.

Essential:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment (preferably professional services), managing high volumes of information accurately and efficiently.
  • A good understanding of recruitment processes and the end-to-end candidate journey.
  • Experience managing candidates through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); experience with Greenhouse would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to use your initiative and work independently.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience and representing the business positively at every stage of the recruitment journey.

You will be available to join by the 16th November 2026.
