As a Systems Engineer, you will own the deep backend infrastructure—from context engines and retrieval pipelines to scaling OLAP data layers—shaping how the internet's next generation of personalized experiences is built and delivered.

What you will do:

• Design and implement high-performance retrieval systems and context engines to power real-time AI agent decision-making.

• Architect and scale service-oriented backend systems using TypeScript, Postgres, and Temporal.io to handle complex, long-running workflows.

• Build robust integration layers and OLAP scaling solutions that allow the platform to learn and optimize itself based on live visitor data.

The ideal candidate:

• Deep technical background in systems engineering, distributed systems, or data pipelines with professional mastery of TypeScript backend environments.

• Experience or a strong interest in AI infrastructure, specifically RAG, LLM evaluations, or workflow orchestration tools like Temporal and Cadence.

• A founding mentality that values craftsmanship—the "beautiful piece of wood on the back"—and thrives in a fast-paced, 5-day-per-week in-office collaborative culture.
