About the role:
At Storio group, we are seeking a System Administrator to support our platform and users across the group, ensuring that we provide a seamless and efficient experience. You’ll tackle daily challenges involving Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Entra ID, Google Administration and providing top tier user support across windows and macOS environments.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that requires expertise in system administration, cross-platform support and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize systems in a fast paced environment.
Your Daily Adventure at Storio
- Support our platforms and users across the group to ensure we provide consistent and reliable experience.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance systems ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- Develop, automate and maintain scripts for routine tasks.
- Provide expert-level support and guidance to junior team members and end users.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation for systems, procedures and general troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any technical issues and provide solutions that support business needs.
- Support SSO management and integrations.
- Act as a point of escalation for Ent Apps.
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
How You Make Your Mark
- You bring extensive hands-on experience in system administration, ensuring a high level of technical expertise.
- You will develop and deploy automation scripts (PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks, improve system efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
- You are an expert in Windows & macOS administration, managing and optimizing systems for users.
- You will design, implement, and maintain robust Active Directory Domain Services and Entra ID environments, ensuring secure user authentication and authorization.
- You will contribute significantly to and/or lead IT projects, from planning and implementation to post-implementation support.
- You excel in communication, collaborating effectively with users and team members, and mentoring junior staff to elevate their technical skills.
- Your strong documentation and technical writing skills ensure transparency and knowledge sharing across teams.
What You Bring to the Party
- Extensive experience in system administration.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server environment(Active Directory, Azure).
- Proficient in scripting languages(Powershell) for automation.
- Expert experience in macOS administration/systems.
- Experience with MDM solutions(Intune, Jamf).
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor junior team members
Extra Kudos for Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field(or equivalent experience).
- Experience in cloud platforms(Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Good understanding of networking concepts(firewalls, VPNS etc)
