About Collinson

Where thoughtful innovation meets global travel - Collinson is a global, family-owned organisation with five distinct companies shaping the future of customer experience across travel, financial services, loyalty and payments.

With more than 2,300 colleagues in 14 countries and a diverse portfolio of brands - including Priority Pass, Valuedynamx, Airport Dimensions, Collinson Insurance and Collinson Investments - we combine global reach with local insight to deliver connected experiences that strengthen relationships between businesses and the customers they serve.

Our Group has reached a significant stage of growth and maturity. With a revenue base exceeding £2bn and sustained above-market performance, we have built a hybrid operating model blending subscription economics, platform dynamics and asset-light scalability. As we evolve our Group structure and channel our investment activity through the Meridian Fund, this role will play a central part in the next chapter of long-term capital alignment.

Key clients include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Chase, HDFC, Revolut, Emirates, British Airways, Virgin, Eurostar, Intel, Apple, Amazon LATAM, Flying Blue, Accor, EasyJet, HSBC.

The Role

This is a senior investment leadership role at a pivotal moment for Collinson Investments, and the role is designed to maximise our strategic partnership with IDC Network, through the Meridian fund. The role acts as Collinson’s investment subject-matter expert, sourcing, structuring and executing deals within Meridian’s seed-to-growth mandate.

You will provide continuity and senior investment leadership while the Group focuses its investment activity through the Meridian Fund. The role is global in remit and centred on sourcing, relationship origination, investor development, board and investment-committee representation, and the mentoring of our investment professionals. The role is a peer to Serkan Elden (SVP Collinson Investments,) and Rodrigo Rodas (Managing Partner, Meridian Fund Management), and is heavily and continuously engaged in the fund’s live pipeline and portfolio.

The fund - Collinson Group has partnered with A.Gain Capital (formerly IDC Ventures) to launch Meridian, a venture investment vehicle backing the rails and operators within the global Experience Economy.

Key Responsibilities

The Meridian Fund

• Senior Investment Principal on the Meridian Fund, providing continuity and senior investment leadership through the current phase of the Group’s investment activity.

• Targeting a $150 million investment vehicle backing the rails and operators beneath the global Experience Economy — a $7.8 trillion market spanning travel, live events, dining, recreation and membership, projected to reach $13.7 trillion by 2035.

Capital Raising & Investor Development

• Support the Meridian team on capital raising, including LP development and investor relationships by presenting a credible, attributable personal investment track record - seed-to-growth, $5–10M tickets, 10–35% ownership), taking primary or co-lead responsibility for a defined share of the fund’s deal pipeline.

• Originate and cultivate relationships with co-investors, family offices, institutions and strategic partners, representing Collinson Group as a Senior Investment Principal.

Sourcing & Origination

• Identify, develop and progress investment and partnership opportunities through your networks and market presence.

• Provide senior counsel to leadership on investment thesis, market opportunities and capital-allocation options.

Talent, Mentoring & Culture

• Support the development of investment professionals within Collinson Investments.

• Contribute to the Group’s investment thinking and to a high-performing, values-led investment culture.

Collaboration & Working Relationships

• Work closely with the wider Corporate Development team.

• Coordinate closely with the Group Managing Director and the Collinson Investments leadership team.

• Provide Counsel and opinion on the current portfolio of investments, including exit strategies and future analysis.

Collinson | A.Gain Bridge

• Translate Collinson’s operating assets — Priority Pass, Airport Dimensions, ValueDynamx and its Insurance businesses — into validation environments, pilot opportunities and distribution advantages for portfolio companies, ensuring Collinson’s strategic interests are reflected in fund strategy.

Reporting & governance discipline

• Prepare investment memoranda, Board papers and performance reporting for the Group Managing Director and the GP Board, ensuring the fund’s activities meet institutional governance and reporting standards.

What You Will Bring

Investment & Capital Expertise

• A strong macro and strategic lens, with the judgement to shape investment thesis and direction across the experience economy, travel and adjacent financial-services ecosystems.

• Deep capital-markets and investor relationships across co-investors, family offices and institutions.

• Ability to speak deal-by-deal to capital deployed, ownership taken and returns delivered, rather than fund-level marks

Relationships & Origination

• A demonstrated track record of originating opportunities and cultivating high-value, long-term relationships.

Board & Representation

• Experience contributing with credibility at board and investment-committee level.

Leadership & Values

• A collaborative, values-led approach; a supportive mentor to developing professionals; a global mindset with cross-border sensitivity.

• Permanent, full-time employee of Collinson Investments [employing entity to confirm],

• Permanent place of work: London, England, with international travel as required.

• Compensation and benefits to be confirmed by People & Culture.

• Carried interest: any carried-interest participation is provided and governed under the Meridian Fund documents (and their vesting and leaver terms), not under this role’s employment terms - participation in the Meridian carry pool at a level to be agreed on offer.

Why This Role Matters

• A pivotal moment: provide senior investment leadership as the Group channels its investment activity through the Meridian Fund.

• Strategic breadth: influence a multi-business portfolio spanning travel, loyalty, financial services and customer experience.

• Values-led culture: be part of a family-owned organisation known for its integrity, long-term thinking and purpose-led approach.

Collinson is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes differences in all their forms including: colour, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, family status, age, individuals with disabilities and people from all backgrounds, cultures and experiences as we strongly believe this contributes to our on-going success.

We are focused on continually evolving our purpose driven, high performing culture, providing an environment where our people have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and do interesting and meaningful work. Our company values are: Take Action, Do the right thing, One team and Be insight led. These help guide everything we do internally in terms of how we think, act and interact, right through to how we deliver value to our customers and clients.
