Sustainable Fuels Analyst – London (Canary Wharf)

World Kinect – Sustainable Aviation & Low‑Carbon Solutions

As our sustainable fuels business continues to grow rapidly across EMEA—particularly within aviation—we are generating an increasing volume of biofuel tickets that play a critical role in supporting national blending mandates. These tickets can be traded across obligated parties and now make a meaningful contribution to our gross profit. Understanding their value is essential to optimizing commercial decisions, negotiating stronger supplier agreements, and strengthening our market position.

We are looking for a Sustainable Fuels Analyst to help us monitor, analyse, and manage these opportunities end‑to‑end. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who is passionate about energy transition, data analysis, and commercial problem‑solving.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Sustainable Fuels Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Administering ticket accounts, applications and verification processes in each market to ensure the timely and accurate completion of required tasks

  • Forecasting biofuel ticket positions in each market to support the purchase, sale and transfer of tickets as per commercial agreements

  • Monitoring and analysing changes in ticket markets to identify opportunities and risks and support commercial decision-making

  • Owning all data collection and analytical processes to successfully discharge WFS’ reporting requirements, as well as proactively identifying improvements

  • Providing other team members with data analysis, modelling and similar outputs as may be required

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in analytics, energy, sustainability, or a commercial support role (internships welcome).
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data—Excel and/or BI tools experience is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior team members.
Why This Role Matters
  • You will directly influence commercial outcomes in Europe’s rapidly growing sustainable fuels sector.
  • Your work improves how we value, trade, and negotiate around biofuel tickets—an increasingly meaningful revenue stream.
  • You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to real‑world sustainability initiatives and the commercial mechanics behind the energy transition.
