We are wishing to hire an Electrical/Avionics, Mechanical, or Structural engineer with a passion to support our airline customers, in the role of an Support Engineering Data Specialist. The role will be based out of our Welwyn Garden City site.
Our products support the maintenance, modification and repair of the Boeing commercial fleet and the users of our products require concise, accurate technical documentation.
Our engineers research and integrate engineering inputs to create airplane maintenance, modification and repair information using a variety of automated research tools and authoring systems. Training and mentoring will be provided as part of our culture of continuous professional development.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Support in analysing technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverables
  • Participate in the collection, research and analysis of source data
  • Research and evaluate engineering source data and specifications
  • Develop or maintain technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance, retrofit and repair
  • Coordinate the preparation of illustrative materials
  • Coordinate engineering requirements, schedule and status with all stakeholders
  • Conduct quality and in-process reviews including the validation of technical publications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with varying levels of requirements efficiently and effectively
  • Solid IT and communications skills
  • Knowledge and experience of aircraft maintenance and repair
  • Experienced in technical publications or similar field of work.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom.
