Position Summary
Engine Overhaul Services have an opportunity to join our Customer Operations Team in Derby as a Supply Chain Operations Manager managing MRO, Campaign, Capability and Network Training lines of activity. You would be part of driving our strategy to deliver a world class service to customers of our Large Engine products. You would be part of developing new capabilities, processes and tools that will be shared across the MRO Network worldwide working together with our customers within Rolls Royce and Airlines. You would be part of a diverse and high performing team who take pride in setting the standard in compliance, safety, and delivery through a robust production system.
What you will be doing
You will impartially co-ordinate supply to ensure the best possible customer and business outcome for Rolls-Royce.

Lead the operational drive within the business to credibly execute the plans, ensuring delivery of customer requirements. Implement and embed standard delivery processes for the Customer Business and Certification teams
Resource owner for Customer Business and certification teams, ensuring alignment to generic roles and development of competency in role to the required level.
Ensure that commitment acceptance is deployed and sustained within the value stream.
Ensure the ERP system reflects current commitments. Accountable for ERP compliance within the value stream, using the standard, mandated Work Instruction, ensuring robustness of plans through high integrity data.
Ensure all supply chain risks that have potential to impact delivery are identified, prioritised and escalated, where appropriate, within the wider organisation.
Through the standard process, ensure root cause analysis is completed for priority parts where the delivery of material / tooling / logistics plan has failed.
Support appropriate CoP's and process councils, ensuring sharing of best practice and continuous improvement of standard processes. Help identify, document and deliver areas for supply chain improvement.
Align and coordinate between Engine Projects & Customer Teams.

Proven leadership qualities through ability to influence outside area of direct control.
Demonstrated ability to deliver under challenging circumstances.
Broad understanding of different roles / functions / processes (e.g. Overhaul, Manufacturing, Purchase, NPI, ME, Project Management etc.).
Experience of production planning and control and logistical processes and Implemented improvement activity, participated in dealing with change (e.g. process, organisation).
Knowledge of and working Part 145 systems.
MS Office or equivalent working skills, with SAP knowledge preferred
