We’re a FoodTech scale-up with over £25m of funding, and we want to revolutionise food delivery through the licensing of ‘virtual’ food brands (brands designed for delivery), operated by anyone that runs a commercial kitchen - we think there’s about 70,000 of them in the UK. We offer kitchen operators everything they need to sell our brands through delivery Apps whilst continuing to run their existing operations. In short, we’re defining the future of the food delivery market!

Nobody’s growing as fast as us in the UK and Europe, and we’re looking for great people to join us on our journey. You will be responsible for delivering and driving our product and brand development process cross-functionally to support Peckwater Brands through its growth and scale processes.

Tasks:

  • Develop a strategic plan for our supply chain: ultimately you own the decision on where, what, and how our restaurant partners purchase. We need to design our Route-to-Market and successfully work across a range of suppliers and distributors to do so. You manage the business on this.
  • Manage our suppliers: once we know our RTM we need to drive operational excellence at every stage. Are our supply chain partners meeting our expectations and delivering on-time and in-full when we need them to? What reporting do we share with them to make this a sustainable partnership? This also includes price negotiations and inflation management - keep our suppliers honest!
  • Manage our systems and reporting: we need a data expert that can pull data at the drop of a hat, manipulate it to answer the questions that matter, and turn it into insight for our teams. Beyond this, we want a scalable way for partners to order, that’s easy for you to manage (and doesn’t create lots of work for you!). You can licence this or build it - you tell us.
  • Deliver the key metrics: all this adds up to delivering against the KPIs and PIs that we agree matter to the business. We want the correct pricing to deliver a set COGS ratio, reliable supply, and high partner compliance. You partner across the business to set these for PWB.
  • Identify Potential Own Label (CPU) Products: done correctly, a CPU line improves consumer experience, simplifies kitchen processes for partners, generates additional revenue for us and distributors, and gives us a competitive advantage. We already manufacture some strategic lines in places like Hungary, and we need you to oversee, improve, and expand this offer over time.

About You:

  • Previous experience developing and implementing category plans, managing suppliers and working with logistics partners.
  • Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills and a track record demonstrating business cost savings on a day-to-day basis.
  • You enjoy managing and influencing people and have some experience to back this up.
  • You’re excited to work in a high growth, fast-pacedstartup environment.

What We Can Offer:

  • We offer amazing benefits to all our people including competitive pay, private healthcare, free gym in the office, volunteering days, unlimited access to mental health support and the chance to work with our awesome team.
