About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to join our growing supply chain team at MILE. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient movement of stock from suppliers to warehouses and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination: Manage and track the movement of goods from manufacturers to warehouses and customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Customs Compliance: Handle customs clearance procedures, including accurate documentation, HS codes (including classification), and compliance with international import/export regulations.
  • Freight Management: Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and shipping partners to secure the best rates and service levels.
  • B2C Shipment Management: Handle queries with couriers for B2C shipments, conducting missing parcel investigations, ensuring customers have a smooth experience from purchase to delivery
  • Stock Control: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy, efficient stock allocation, and timely dispatch of orders.
  • Supplier & Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure production timelines align with shipping schedules and customer deadlines.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to streamline logistics processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively troubleshoot logistics and customs-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to supply chain operations.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain detailed shipment records, prepare logistics reports, and analyse performance metrics to help make informed decisions to optimise operations.

Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years in a logistics or supply chain role within the fashion industry or a related sector.
  • Customs Knowledge: Strong understanding of customs clearance processes, including import/export regulations, duties, tariffs, and HS codes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics and inventory management
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve logistics challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs.
