Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Plan and adjust flows and production schedules, managing daily stock levels, transfers, and deliveries to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage plant-level inventories, balancing plant capacities to optimize service and minimize costs without compromising customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the execution of seasonal supply surges, including forecasting, communication, and exception management to meet demand.
  • Support the creation, analysis, and delivery of planning reports to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Monitor and manage stock transfers and new pallet deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes, focusing on cost optimization and operational efficiency.

Based in Manchester, Trafford Park – Hybrid (2 days office / 3 days home)

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Planning Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning and managing all logistics activities within your assigned region, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply of equipment to our customers at the right time, in the right way, and at the lowest cost—without compromising service quality. The ideal background would be from a similar role in demand / FMCG planning, or transport planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and adjust flows and production schedules to maintain optimal stock levels and timely deliveries.
  • Manage plant-level inventories and balance capacities to optimize service and minimize costs.
  • Execute seasonal supply surges through accurate forecasting and proactive communication.
  • Monitor stock transfers and pallet deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet SLAs and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Support the creation and analysis of planning reports for data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes for cost and efficiency gains.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Logistics execution expertise and a strong supply chain background.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Excel, strong numeracy, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with SAP or transport management systems (desirable).
  • Languages: English is essential; other EU languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer and provider interactions.
