Job Summary

The Supplier Manager is responsible for managing and developing CDW's global supplier and distribution partner ecosystem, spanning approximately £850m of annual supplier spend across the UK and Rest of World. This role owns relationships with Tier 1 distribution partners and international service delivery suppliers, ensuring CDW has the right commercial coverage, capability, and performance to support its global sales and solutions strategy. The role combines commercial ownership, supplier development, tendering, performance governance, and executive-level relationship management, including leadership of CDW's £700m annual distribution tender and oversight of the Global Partner Network (GPN). The Supplier Manager acts as CDW's primary interface to strategic suppliers, ensuring performance, accountability, scalability, and commercial advantage.

What You Will Do
  • Manage approximately £850m of annual supplier spend across Tier 1 distributors and global service partners
  • Own and develop 10- 50 strategically important, high-spend suppliers across distribution and global delivery
  • Lead the annual £700m distribution tender, ensuring best commercial, service, and capability outcomes
  • Identify, onboard, and qualify international service delivery partners to support global customer requirements
  • Drive competitive pricing, margin improvement, and commercial efficiency across the supplier base
  • Lead supplier performance management, including KPIs, service levels, market share, and commercial outcomes
  • Own supplier governance, including due diligence, contracts, compliance, and risk management
  • Act as the primary escalation point for supplier performance, delivery failures, and commercial disputes
  • Lead QBRs and strategic business reviews with senior and executive supplier stakeholders
  • Align supplier capability and investment with CDW's sales, solutions, and global delivery strategy
  • Work closely with Sales, Service Delivery, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to match the right partner to the right opportunity
  • Maintain and continuously improve GPN processes, systems, and reporting to support scalability
  • Represent CDW at supplier meetings, reviews, and industry events
  • Act as the single relationship owner for assigned suppliers within CDW
What We Expect of You
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in supplier, vendor, partner, or distributor management
  • Proven ability to lead negotiations, tenders, and commercial governance
  • Confidence managing executive-level supplier relationships and QBRs
  • Experience owning KPIs, reporting, and supplier performance management
  • Background within IT distribution, technology vendors, or global services ecosystems (highly advantageous)
  • Ability to manage risk, contracts, and compliance across a multi-supplier, multi-country environment
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills internally and externally
  • Comfortable operating in a high-value, high-impact commercial environment
  • Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage complexity and change
  • Familiarity with supplier or partner management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Coupa, or similar) is beneficial
  • Ambitious and capable of owning and growing a strategic supplier portfolio
