Your Role

As a Design Technology Intern at Gensler, you will be embedded within our London studio, working alongside our Design Technology team to support the digital delivery of world-class architectural projects. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity.

This is a full-time program running from 30th June through 28th August 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Design Technology team in developing and implementing BIM workflows on live architectural projects
  • Contribute to the development of visual and graphic outputs including 3D renderings, diagrams and design presentations
  • Participate in design technology research, exploring emerging tools and digital fabrication techniques
  • Enjoy the rich culture of our office through educational sessions, lunch-and-learns, and mentorship opportunities with senior Design Technology professionals

Your Qualifications

  • You are currently enrolled in a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related design discipline
  • Experience using Autodesk Revit is highly desirable; familiarity with BIM concepts is a plus
  • Exposure to computational design tools such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, or scripting languages (Python, C#) is advantageous
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for design communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is a bonus
  • An interest in the intersection of design and technology, and a curiosity about digital workflows

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities 
  • Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and an enthusiastic collaborative team player
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
