Your Role
As a Summer Business Business Operations Intern at Gensler, you will work closely with our Regional Operations Officer (ROO) and get an in-depth look at how a world-leading architecture and design firm operates behind the scenes. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to understand the full business of design — from the numbers to the people to the brand.
This is a full-time program running from 30th June through 28th August 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program.
What You Will Do
- Shadow and support our Regional Operations Officer (ROO), gaining exposure to strategic business decision-making and studio operations
- Rotate across key operational functions including to gain broad, hands-on experience
- Assist with business reporting, data gathering and the preparation of internal presentations and operational summaries
Your Qualifications
- You hold or are completing a degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field - OR you are an Architecture or Interior Design graduate looking to pivot into a business operations career
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly across different teams and levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- An interest in the built environment, architecture, or design is a plus but not essential
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or data visualisation tools is advantageous
