Over the past two years, we’ve welcomed cohorts of 10 talented Summer Interns to our London offices, and we’re excited to invite fresh talent to join us for an incredible Summer 2025 experience!

During this paid internship you will get first-hand work experience, mentoring from employees in your selected field, as well as the chance to contribute and make a real impact.

We thrive on nurturing future talent and we want you to be part of that journey, which means you don’t need to have tons of experience, just the right attitude and determination.

To be eligible you must be:

  • Over 18 and have the legal right to work in the UK

  • Going into your final year of an undergraduate degree in Autumn 2025

  • Able to come to our London office Monday - Friday for 10 weeks 

  • Available from 9th June to 15th August 2025

Important Information You Need to Know:

  • Application Deadline: Applications close on 24th February at 10:00 AM.

  • Next Steps: If your application progresses to the next stage, you will hear from us by 6th March.

Information about the 2025 Summer Internship 

The UK People Team is looking for a Summer Intern! In our London office, we are a team of roughly 30, who support employees in the UK and in global Condé Nast markets. Some of us are generalists, supporting specific areas of the business, and some specialise in areas of HR including Compensation, Operations & Learning. This internship would give you great exposure to what a broad role in a People Team would look like, with people who are focused on improving employee experience. We are a close and friendly team, where people bring their true selves to work. 

What will you be doing?

This internship will be as broad as the work that the UK People Team do. Examples of some of the things you’ll be working on include: 

  • Welcoming new starters through our Induction & Onboarding 

  • Learning about HR Technology, Platforms & Systems 

  • Supporting employees through the HR Lifecycle including starters, promotions, development and when people choose to leave Condé

  • Spending time with our Centres of Excellence including Compensation, Learning and Development & Operations

  • Work on our Employer Branding and social media content creation

  • Writing comms to send to our UK team on Slack and Email 

  • Working with the team on changes to legislation including policies, processes and ways of working 

  • Supporting on the Engagement and Culture work including the planning of events & celebrating key cultural moments 

Who you are: 

  • We are open to you studying any degree at all, for this internship we are much more focused on the skills that you are able to demonstrate. 

  • It is important that you have a personable, confident, can-do attitude 

  • Attention to detail and being able to prioritise is key in the work that we do 

  • Understanding the confidential nature of the role, and the importance of protecting employees data and personal information 

  • We use Workday & GSuite - so any prior experience of systems, tools & platforms would be advantageous
