Harbor Global – Legal Technology and Consulting Intern

Our Interns will gain the experience to provide a unique blend of core consulting services across a number of industries and disciplines along with developing specialized skills in their respective areas of interest.

Harbor is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team for an eight-week, 40-hour per week paid internship that runs from June to August 2026. To ensure that you get the most out of the Program, you will need to be onsite in either our Bristol or London.

Responsibilities

  • Provide client-facing support within the legal technology environment.
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting, focusing on issue resolution
  • Run and interpret SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Review and analyse system processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to incident and problem management efforts, helping to track, investigate, and resolve issues.
  • Support change management activities by assisting with system updates and minor development tasks.
  • Help implement controlled changes to systems and tools used by the legal operations team.

Qualifications

Ideally, you are actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, and/or Data Analytics preferred. Essential qualifications include:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information systems or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of VB, C#, SQL, XML, Web Services.
  • Excellent communication skills, to effectively deliver and explain research findings both verbally and through written summaries and analysis.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently and to collaborate with client’s team and other contract researchers to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Able to complete an 8-week program beginning in June 2026.
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week.
  • Live in (or willing to locate to) Bristol or London
  • Have permanent UK work authorisation
