As a Student Engagement Coordinator, you’ll be part of a team that works closely with partner universities to help them recruit quality students. The role will see you engage with students from around the world to let them know about their postgraduate study choices. This means you’ll take warm leads from the Marketing team, build a strong rapport with the customer seeking information, and help them find the course that best fits their ambitions. Not to mention, there will be plenty of chances for you to develop your learning and further your career here.

Day In a Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Interact and engage with prospective students through phone calls to provide guidance through the selection process and conducting informational interviews.
  • Maintain regular communication with students, ensuring personalized support.
  • Achieve targets set by Risepoint while prioritizing quality relationships.
  • Foster a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Utilize adaptive communication strategies tailored to individual students.

What You’ll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, recruitment, or a call center environment in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or another telephone-based environment.
  • An understanding of pipeline and sales management.
  • Strong teamwork, prioritisation and multitasking skills.
  • The ability to understand and follow the sales process with great attention to detail.
  • The ability to listen, build rapport with others, and communicate effectively.
  • A positive, motivated individual with a real appreciation for sales, as well as the education sector.
  • Desire: Previous experience with Salesforce.
  • Must be currently residing in the United Kingdom
