Job Description
Out of the successful launch of Chase in 2021, we're a new team, with a new mission. We're creating products that solve real world problems and put customers at the center - all in an environment that nurtures skills and helps you realize your potential. Our team is key to our success. We're people-first. We value collaboration, curiosity and commitment.
As a Strategy Senior Associate within the Accelerator Business at JPMorgan Chase, you are the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. You have a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. By your nature, you are also solution-oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech.
While we're looking for professional skills, culture is just as important to us. We understand that everyone's unique - and that diversity of thought, experience and background is what makes a good team great. By bringing people with different points of view together, we can represent everyone and truly reflect the communities we serve. This way, there's scope for you to make a huge difference - on us as a company, and on our clients and business partners around the world.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Leadership: Work closely with the Accelerator leadership teams to identify, prioritize, and address critical business challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with technology and cross-functional teams across the International Consumer Bank (ICB) to synthesize insights and develop actionable strategies.
  • Strategic Project Management: Lead and support key strategic initiatives, conducting both qualitative and quantitative analyses to drive business outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and present project data and findings, including financial modeling and dashboard creation, to inform decision-making.
  • Presentation: Develop, manage, and maintain strategic presentation materials for the Board, Operating Committee (OC), and OC-1 audiences, as well as for internal communications such as All Hands meetings and newsletters, to enhance visibility and drive alignment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and partner with leadership to implement effective solutions.
  • Market & Industry Research: Monitor industry trends and deliver insightful reports and analyses to the broader team and senior executives.
  • Planning: Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability by contributing to OKRs and other planning initiatives.
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • Diverse problem solving experience, from either a premier management consulting firm, OR from an investment banking (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) division, OR from another internal Strategy group
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to build relationships, adeptly navigate large organizations, and manage senior stakeholders and functional partners
  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint (required), Google Sheets and Docs (a plus, will learn in the role)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, balancing the scrappiness of a startup with the process orientation of a large company
  • Ability to think ahead, and see what's coming by connecting the dots.
  • Extreme comfort with ambiguity and driving change.
