About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager based in Berlin or remote. Do you enjoy solving problems? Are you naturally curious and interested in gaining deep knowledge across all aspects of our business?
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in identifying the biggest challenges and opportunities in our business (whether in our partner and vendor network, customer success, or back office operations), and then scoping, prioritizing and leading the successful delivery and execution of the solutions. As a key member of our team, you will establish finmid as a trusted partner for our suppliers and customers, ensuring that we can efficiently deliver our product and services to our stakeholders as we rapidly scale our business in the months and years ahead.
In this role, you will

Develop and execute a strategic plan to solve critical problems across our business, whether in our supplier and vendor network, for customer onboarding and success, or within back office operations

Build a deep understanding of our product and business requirements and how we can now shape what we will deliver in the years to come.

Develop and oversee operational processes that will facilitate growth and work at scale.

Constantly review data to gain a deep understanding of the effectiveness of our processes, product, and partners to ensure that performance is in line with SLAs.

Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment daily and coordinate delivery of solutions with internal stakeholders, including Product/ Tech, Legal/ Compliance, Risk, Capital Markets, Growth, etc.

Help build a team that can support our growth over the following years.
What you need to be successful

3+ years of total experience, including 2+ years in Management Consulting or Investment Banking, and 1–2+ years in Strategy or Business Operations within fintech, vertical SaaS, or Financial Services.

Proven track record in stakeholder and project management, including direct client interaction.

Experience leading cross-functional teams in product-centric environments.

Strong collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.

Deep understanding of complex operational processes and how to scale them.

Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, including at the C-level.

Operational mindset with a focus on clear vision-setting and tight process execution.

Experience working closely with product teams is a plus.
