TALENT & LEARNING ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Overview

The Talent & Learning Expertise Center is a global team of professionals with deep expertise in talent, learning, and organizational development. We enable clients in the identification, management, development, and nurturing of their talent, ensuring organizations thrive in a demanding, fast-changing workplace.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as an Associate Consultant. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored Talent and Learning (T&L) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess people and project leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity for developing keen business insights.
Responsibilities

  1. Assess Client Needs: Lead thorough assessments to identify and scope client requirements in the T&L domain, noting challenges and objectives.
  2. Communicate with Clients: Ensure clear and timely client communications, either directly or through junior team members, throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Liaise with ZS Client Teams: Establish connections with ZS client teams to leverage internal resources, expertise, and best practices that enhance project outcomes.
  4. Develop Custom T&L Offerings for Clients: Interpret insights from client interactions to develop customized T&L solutions that meet specific business requirements.
  5. Manage Projects: Take a lead role in project execution, including planning, monitoring progress, and mitigating risks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  6. Develop Others: Delegate tasks and monitor the work of others to deliver client and internal projects.
  7. Develop T&L Digital Assets: Assist in the design and development of digital assets, including reviewing quality of databases, tools, and platforms related to T&L solutions.
  8. Assist in Business Development Efforts: Prepare proposal materials for client presentations to support the growth of the T&L portfolio. Help develop POVs (points of view) on T&L offerings.
  9. Create High-Quality Materials: Develop sophisticated presentations, comprehensive reports, and other high-impact client deliverables that effectively communicate strategic insights, actionable recommendations, and compelling value propositions.
  10. Support Innovation Initiatives: Maintain a keen awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide strategic insights and ideas that foster continuous innovation and organizational improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred but not required)
  • 5+ years of relevant post-collegiate job experience in consulting, project management, or client-facing roles, preferably in the T&L industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to delegate and monitor the work of others
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
  • Creative and conceptual thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
