About R/GA
In our 40-year history, we’ve changed a lot—from a culture-defining film title studio (Superman, Alien, Ghostbusters); to an interactive advertising agency; to an award-winning product and marketing agency with design, technology, communications, ventures and IP practices. We like change, and like to navigate our clients through it too.

Our approach to work is always human first. This unwavering focus helps us create meaningful and memorable experiences that live across digital platforms and often blur the line between the digital and real worlds. We believe disruptive thinking happens when you collide experts in design, technology and culture.

Our Strategists work closely with creative, tech, and analytics teams to create impactful, integrated, and measurable campaigns. They uncover cultural insights that surface opportunities and meaning for brands, and create detailed, yet simple presentations that tell stories and provide recommendations that contribute to the strategic direction of client work.

About you
You are a dynamic thinker who’s very comfortable with ambiguity. You are willing to help solve a diverse range of client challenges and are an expert at extracting clarity from clients to develop and implement the best strategic approach to the work.

You continuously seek opportunities to differentiate R/GA’s offerings and expand our impact across clients and industries.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Strategy Director at R/GA:

  • Partner with account/project leads across different disciplines to guide our most senior clients towards bold and innovative solutions
  • Demonstrate an analysis of category, cultural, and consumer trends that highlights opportunities for clients’ businesses
  • Partner with creative, applied intelligence, program management, and business leadership teams to create innovative strategies and groundbreaking output
  • Translate strategic discoveries into inspiring briefs and roadmaps for our clients

The Ideal Person

  • Has expertise with research methodologies
  • Is innately curious, has insight into human behavior, and an instinct for popular culture
  • Can work across different groups and disciplines to push work forward
  • Can use brand strategy to inform campaign strategies
  • Is deeply collaborative with other disciplines

You bring

  • 10+ years’ experience in strategic planning
