The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is building out its Technology Strategy practice, which is responsible to develop and maintain Citi’s Technology Strategy in support of firm’s Businesses and Functions. As part of the Technology Strategy Team, Strategy Analyst will be joining an existing global team of technology strategy analysts, product managers and engineers.

The successful candidate for this high impact role requires expertise in strategy formulation and communication, stakeholder management.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Strategy Development: Assist in the iteration of our longer-term vision: what will Technology Strategy stand for, how is our industry responding and what is the right focus for Citi
  • Facilitate Governance Activities: Coordinate and document governance processes, including tracking follow-up actions, preparing crisp updates and ensuring everything is audit-ready.
  • Craft High-Impact Executive Materials: Help shape the story of Technology Strategy by drafting and refining presentations for CTO Management, Technology Leadership and Board of Directors.
  • Support Cross-Team Collaboration Efforts: Partner with stakeholders in strategy, operations and engineering to champion Technology Strategy, ensure alignment, and communicate our team’s perspective and priorities.
  • Contribute to GenAI Tool Development & Adoption: Collaborate with the engineering team in the testing and rollout of internal GenAI-powered productivity tools.
     

Skills & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a financial services, strategy, business analysis, technology, consulting or data focused role.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and organization skills, presence, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate within ambiguity and create structure.
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, highly adaptive and able to work well in a demanding environment.
  • AI first mindset - Interest in AI & Automation and their strategic applications; experience with tools like Copilot and ChatGPT are a bonus but not essential. 
  • A commitment to excellence and collaboration with a diverse workforce.
  • Willingness to learn and upskill in AI, Data or engineering-related tools.
