Role Overview

The Strategic Sales Manager – Gyms (UK / EMEA) is a growth-focused commercial role responsible for accelerating Therabody’s expansion across the gym and fitness operator sector throughout the UK and EMEA region. This position is designed for a sales professional with a strong background in the fitness industry and proven experience driving growth across multiple markets, opening new opportunities, and scaling a gym vertical internationally.

The primary focus of the role is growing the gym channel across UK and EMEA—identifying new opportunities, expanding Therabody’s presence within existing and new gym groups, and defining the long-term commercial strategy for the vertical at a regional level. While an established customer base exists, success in this role is measured by expansion, penetration, and incremental revenue growth rather than day-to-day relationship management.

As the commercial owner of the gym vertical for UK & EMEA, you will shape where and how Therabody wins in this space, leading strategic initiatives that drive scale and long-term value across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth across the gym vertical throughout the UK and EMEA by identifying, developing, and converting new commercial opportunities.
  • Expand Therabody’s footprint within existing gym groups by opening new locations, markets, and commercial use cases across the region.
  • Lead the development and execution of the UK & EMEA gym vertical growth strategy, aligned with international business objectives.
  • Proactively target high-potential gym operators, chains, and emerging fitness concepts across EMEA to build pipeline and momentum.
  • Position Therabody as a premium recovery, performance, and wellness solution within gym environments across regional markets.
  • Lead senior-level commercial conversations with gym owners, operators, and decision-makers focused on expansion and scale.
  • Identify opportunities across product placement, staff education, member engagement, and commercial initiatives that drive regional growth.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations and product demonstrations tailored to gym operators and regional market needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Education, and Operations teams to support pilots, launches, and multi-market rollouts.
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline, forecasting, and reporting, with clear visibility on UK & EMEA growth performance.
  • Stay ahead of fitness industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving gym business models across EMEA to inform strategy.

You Are a Great Fit If You Have

  • Strong background within the fitness or gym industry, with demonstrable experience driving commercial growth across UK and/or EMEA markets.
  • Proven success growing a gym or fitness vertical, including opening new accounts or expanding existing groups across multiple regions.
  • Experience in strategic sales, business development, or growth-focused commercial roles with international scope.
  • Commercially strategic, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into scalable regional partnerships.
  • Confident and credible communicator, comfortable leading senior-level commercial discussions across diverse markets.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and motivated by building momentum and measurable regional impact.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and pipeline management skills.
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and performance, with a strong understanding of gym operations across markets.
  • Ability to work from the London office a minimum of two days per week.
