Before all else, Liberis is a technology company, connecting finance with small businesses.

We use data to help partners understand their customers’ real time needs and tech to offer tailor-made funding and financial products. Empowering small businesses to grow and keep their independent spirit alive is central to our vision.

Up to now we have funded almost 40,000 small businesses with over $1.5bn - but we believe there is much more to be done.

The team

The Enterprise Sales team drives our growth by identifying, developing, and managing long-term, high-value partnerships. This involves driving incremental business development strategies resulting in partnerships that are core to our business model, supporting GTM project planning and implementation, and account development.

Our mission is to drive sustainable growth and secure market leadership by securing strategic partnerships and sharing valuable market insights that influence our roadmap and strategic decisions. We aim to be recognised for our expertise in forging strategic partnerships and our ability to adapt in a rapidly changing market.

As part of GTM & Strategic Partnerships team, we collaborate closely with the Partner Solutions, Commercial, and Product teams to shape a successful partnership strategy and achieve our ambitious targets.

The role

Reporting to the Director of GTM & Strategic Partnerships, you will develop and deliver best-in-class business development and partnership engagement that maximises value for our partners, their small business customers, and delivers profits to Liberis.

You will have the opportunity to build and deepen executive relationships with partners, influence long-term strategic direction and help global banks, marketplaces and acquiring businesses serve their customers with a unique embedded finance proposition.

You should be able to drive C-suite conversations in a compelling manner and have significant experience leading and developing technology-centred partnerships across the payments or lending markets.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
  • Negotiate and manage entire sales cycles, often presenting to executives, attend industry events and build meaningful relationships.
  • Shape our European Enterprise Sales strategy.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity, providing valuable insights to shape the partnership strategy. Identify new partnership opportunities and market channels that will help expand Liberis’ reach and impact within the SME space.

What we think you’ll need

  • Proven Enterprise Sales or Business Development experience in the financial (payment/lending) or technology industry.
  • Experience selling large financial deals or enterprise solutions.
  • Experience with large complex commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience working with and managing partners and technical teams during implementation projects.
  • Experience leveraging C-level relationships.
  • Ability to travel.

What happens next?

Think this sounds like the right next move for you? Or if you’re not completely confident that you fit our exact criteria, apply anyway and we can arrange a call to see if the role is fit for you. Humility is a wonderful thing, and we are interested in hearing about what you can add to Liberis!
