The Strategic Proposition Manager is responsible for leading analysis into macro trends, competitor strategies, customer behaviours, emerging regulation and technological advancements to help build Quilter’s longer-term view of the markets in which it operates.

By maintaining a strong network of internal and external stakeholders, the Strategic Proposition Manager leverages key market insights to influence strategic initiatives and priorities in a dynamic industry.

Where propositional opportunities are identified, the Strategic Proposition Manager will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Quilter business to lead feasibility, define outcomes and success criteria, and prepare the business case for approval of the proposition solution. This role is pivotal in articulating the strategic narrative and the impact on advisers and customers across advice, investments, and platforms for a wide range of audiences.

The Strategic Proposition Manager is responsible for clearly presenting Quilter’s current and strategic propositions to benefit both external and internal stakeholders, including executives, board members, market commentators, and awarding bodies.

The Strategic Proposition Manager role supports the design and development of propositions and services that meet the specific needs of customers to create good customer outcomes. 

About You

As Strategic Proposition Manager, you be driven to understand the wider landscape in which Quilter operates and how we continue to remain competitive in a quickly evolving market. You will be able to think strategically, possess entrepreneurial skills and have the willing to challenge convention.

You will bring experience of the UK financial services market including an understanding of platforms and platform technology, UK regulation, financial planning systems/tools and the design of customer investment solutions. If not already, you will be prepared to build a network of internal and external network to inform strategic direction and competitor advantage.

You will have a familiarity with Change/IT/Customer Service/Risk/Finance functions, financial advisers, UK regulations the FCA and 3rd party technology service providers. You must be able to demonstrate experience of analysis and insights, proposition design and development and the drafting and preparation of business cases.

To be successful in the role, you will require excellent reporting skills including detailed analysis and Board/Executive presentations.  Delivering clear and engaging content, suitable for the intended audience.
