Strategic Program Manager, Global Marketing Planning & Operations

The Strategic Program Manager will work within eBay’s Global Marketing organization, partnering closely with marketing leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to manage the end-to-end execution of complex, integrated global marketing programs. This role is responsible for translating approved marketing plans into actionable program and project plans, ensuring seamless coordination, on-time delivery, and high-quality execution across channels and regions.

You will collaborate with global brand, marketing operations, CRM, product marketing, media, communications, consumer insights, creative teams, and agency partners to manage campaign lifecycles from kickoff through delivery, optimization, and post-campaign review. The Strategic Program Manager will play a critical role in connecting teams, aligning timelines, and maintaining operational rigor to support eBay’s business and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning, development, and execution of global marketing programs and campaigns across priority marketing initiatives

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align marketing objectives, customer strategies, and go-to-market execution plans

  • Own end-to-end campaign program management, including scope definition, timelines, resource coordination, and tracking

  • Support integrated omni-channel marketing delivery across paid and owned channels, partnering with creative, media, and agency teams from concept through optimization

  • Coordinate creative development and production workflows, including collaboration with internal creative teams and external agency partners

  • Build and manage detailed project plans, identify dependencies and risks, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and to quality standards

  • Facilitate alignment by managing approvals, sign-offs, and ongoing communication with marketing and business partners

  • Provide regular status updates, reporting, and insight into program progress, risks, and timelines

  • Develop and maintain clear operating processes, documentation, and RASCIs to support efficient campaign execution as well as finding opportunities for process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in marketing program management, project management, or agency account management

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and integrated campaign execution across multiple channels

  • Proven experience working with creative teams and managing creative development processes

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, matrixed, and collaborative environment

  • Strong communication, organizational, and partner management skills
