Linklaters is a global law firm, with 31 offices in 21 countries worldwide.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

About the role:

As Strategic Pitch Senior Manager, you will lead delivery of the firm's most important and high-value panel and matter pitches. You will take ownership of the full pitch lifecycle, providing strategic direction, effective stakeholder management, and hands-on project management. You will be a champion for pitch best practice, driving excellence, innovation and collaboration across the firm.

  • Lead and project manage high-priority pitches, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned at every stage
  • Develop customised, client-focused pitch strategies that stand out in a competitive environment
  • Manage and coach Strategic Pitch Team members in London, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
  • Guide partners and teams through the pitch process—including preparation, rehearsals, and client engagement before and after submission
  • Shape and deliver impactful internal pitch training, tailored to BDM teams and lawyers
  • Analyse market and client trends to inform pitch positioning and identify differentiation opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, including automation and digital content initiatives
  • Oversee pitch content creation—including collaboration with design teams to produce compelling proposals aligned to the Linklaters brand

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience managing strategic pitching in professional services, preferably in a legal environment
  • Leadership and direct line management experience with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Expertise in project management, client engagement, and creating client-focused value propositions
  • Strong ability to coach and prepare teams for client presentations
  • Passion for continuous improvement and new technologies, particularly automation and generative AI
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A degree in marketing, business or a related field (advanced marketing/leadership qualifications preferred)

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.

Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:
