We are looking for someone that has strong account management expertise and the confidence to take initiative in a fast-moving environment. Resilience, tenacity and a proactive mindset are essential for this role, and given the international scope, the Strategic Partnerships manager will need to work effectively across time zones whilst balancing varied commercial and operational needs.

What you’ll be doing as a Strategic Partnerships Manager

  • Creating and maintaining the local business strategy for the partnership portfolio in line with market and partner evolution
  • Managing, strengthening and extending existing partner relationships to new regions
  • Analysing and reporting on partner initiatives, forecasting for strategic changes and reporting on key metrics
  • Working with the commercial teams to manage referral opportunities provided by the partner network
  • Managing and negotiating contracts with strategic partners and attending meetings to serve as representatives of their organisations
  • Working with partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create business opportunities
  • Identifying and championing process improvements and initiatives to maximise revenue generated through partners
  • Representing Thredd at industry events, owned events, webinars, conference calls, meetings and workshops
  • Working cross-functionally with marketing, commercial and product teams

What you’ll bring to the Strategic Partnerships Manager position

  • Proven experience and understanding on how payments processing works, having previously work for an issuing bank, scheme, processor or programme manager
  • Cross-scheme knowledge of Visa, Mastercard and Discover
  • Strong awareness of current trends within the market and industry
  • Ability and experience to present and engage at C-Level with partners
  • A passion for developing new and existing relationships
  • Strong commercial drive and the ability to work in highly demanding environments
  • Understanding the importance of requirements gathering, planning and how to use this to manage expectations and drive outcomes

Where you’ll work

Our working model varies depending on the specific role and team requirements. We strive to provide flexibility whilst ensuring that each position is best supported for optimal collaboration and performance.

This Strategic Partnerships Manager position is a hybrid role based out of our London office two days a week.
