As a Strategic Partner Account Manager at Acronis, you will play a critical role in building, managing, and expanding our relationships with existing and new service provider partners. You will work closely with sales managers and leaders within our partner organizations to drive revenue growth, expand Acronis' market share, and increase customer adoption. This role is perfect for a top-performing sales professional with strong strategic and tactical sales management skills who can balance short-term objectives with long-term business strategies. The decisions you make locally can have a significant global impact, as you will be working with some of Acronis' largest service provider partners worldwide.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner Enablement Management: Establish, manage, and grow relationships with existing and new service provider partners.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive incremental Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) through proactive management of sales initiatives with partners.
  • Training & Onboarding: Facilitate training, onboarding, and enablement for new and prospective service provider partners to ensure they are fully equipped to succeed.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual partner forecasts and business activity reports to Acronis sales leadership.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns in collaboration with service provider partners to drive product adoption.
  • Business Planning: Align closely with managed partners through the development and execution of comprehensive business plans.
  • Data Management: Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, including Acronis Partner Passport, to maintain accurate records of partner activities and engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across Acronis teams, including Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Acronis Academy, and executives, to ensure smooth collaboration and support for partners.
  • Certifications: Ensure partners maintain all relevant sales and technical certifications.
  • 60-70% YOY Growth: Support partners in selling Acronis Cyber Protection services to their existing base by driving product adoption through innovative sales and marketing GTM initiatives. 

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting and managing service provider partners, with a focus on backup, disaster recovery, security, or related cloud technologies.
  • Proven track record in achieving revenue targets of $1.5M+ annually.
  • 5+ years of experience and demonstrated sales success in recruiting and managing service provider partners, with a focus on backup, disaster recovery, security, or related cloud technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong experience in software sales, particularly in infrastructure/systems software or storage software.
  • Must have the technical knowledge to provide sales and product training on Acronis solutions based on client needs and product positioning.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and manage an annual business plan for service provider partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) and strong presentation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning and follow-up skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for partner meetings and events.
  • Team-player with a positive attitude; proactive in helping out and overcoming challenges.
