About the role

As our Strategic Marketing Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in building the strategy of a team at the heart of VEED’s growth strategy, to lead critical cross-functional projects that impact the whole company, to develop new tools and processes that redefine how people work together, and to work with a team of passionate and talented marketers.

You will report directly to our CMO and play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing organization. Being their closest partner, you will help develop and execute strategic marketing plans, manage complex projects, and optimize marketing operations. You will work in close collaboration with the whole Marketing department (Brand, Product, Growth, Content), as well as with other execs and teams across the company (Product, Engineering, Finance).

What you will do

  • Strategic Planning: Support with the development of annual and quarterly marketing plans, aligning with the company's overall business objectives. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to help inform strategic decisions.
  • Program Management: Lead and manage complex cross-functional marketing projects, including product launches, campaign management, and budget allocation.
  • Analytics & Reporting: In partnership with the Data Team, develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Analyze marketing data to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Operational Excellence: Streamline marketing processes, collaborate with our Business Operations team to implement new tools and technologies, and optimize marketing operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Budget Management & Oversight: Work with CMO, marketing budget owners and finance team to help manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across initiatives. Track spending, finetune processes, optimize costs, and provide regular financial reporting to key stakeholders.

Influence: influence up, down and across the organisation to ensure strong communication, collaboration and effective work flows.

About you

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, strategic ops, Marketing Chief of Staff or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including branding, digital marketing, and content marketing
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, data analysis tools, and project management methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Country Hiring Guidelines: We are currently hiring in 3 core hubs: London, Amsterdam and Barcelona and 2 additional hubs for sales and support roles only (USA for sales and the Philippines for support).
