The Strategic Initiatives Department is responsible for identifying operational inefficiencies in existing processes and  recommending improvements with Marex’s business leaders and process owners. The Strategic Initiatives Team is led by The Head of Strategic Initiatives Lead, who reports to the CEO.

This role will be focused on supporting the Strategic Initiatives Lead and Head of Strategic Initiatives to enhance Marex’s cost efficiency and operational leverage through designing and implementing improved processes and rationalisation initiatives across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Support data collection, data analysis and problem solving work as part of the Strategic Initiatives Team’s review of business processes
• Lead process reengineering initiatives across the firm to reduce operational risk
• Apply AI and automation to drive cost efficiencies
• Act as a strategic partner working closely with the Strategic Initiatives Team and Marex business leaders to identify solutions to operational inefficiencies
• Monitor and report on the performance of reengineered processes and implemented AI solutions

Skills & Experience:

• Track record of delivering distinctive results at a top-tier firm
• Extensive project management experience; ability to assimilate quickly
• Strong business acumen
• Role model for demonstrating highest integrity and conduct
• Strategic collaborator with agility to anticipate future challenges
• Experience working with internal business systems, enterprise software, Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
