What you’ll do

The position will report to the EMEA Strategic Finance Director and will provide support to the Strategic Finance team based across the region. The team is fundamental in providing support to the EMEA leadership team, including the EMEA Business Unit Leaders and the EMEA Head of Operations.

This role is integral to forecasting, reporting to the region’s leaders, and deeper analysis of the underlying performance of the firm. You can expect to be fully immersed in the budgeting and forecasting processes for EMEA and assist in driving continuous improvements across these areas whilst responding to requests for ad hoc analysis.

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to the EMEA Business Unit leaders, including to the co-heads of the region. You will provide insightful analysis and actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, highlight variances, and proactively flag potential risks or issues.
  • Assist with the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles through the preparation of relevant data and reports, as well as ensuring the smooth execution and reconciliation of system entry.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting, forecasting, and financial modelling to address specific business needs beyond the standard reporting cycle.
  • Partner with the Strategic Finance Business Partners to identify opportunities for business performance improvement and process optimisation.
  • Collaborate with other corporate services functions to align reporting processes and outputs, reducing inconsistencies and improving clarity for EMEA leadership.

What you’ll need

  • A degree in a STEM area or any subject with a strong quantitative focus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills essential, in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High level of business acumen. A numerate and analytical thinker who can articulate themselves effectively will be a good fit for this role.
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently on complex assignments.
  • Prior experience in a professional services business and of a matrix organization would be beneficial. Alternatively, experience within an FP&A / finance focused role where you have been responsible for performance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting is also desirable. This will be ideally gained within a medium to large business with complex operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be required to produce insightful analysis for a broad audience, as such it is essential your written and verbal communication skills are of a high standard.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, self-motivated, logical, and objective.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages will be an asset.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
