Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, project management, and consulting, preferably in an IT Environment.
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a desire to learn and continuously improve.
- Strong knowledge of and proven experience with engagement management/resource management.
- Knowledge of IR35 regulations and requirements
- Prior experience in the staffing or recruiting industry strongly preferred.
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience managing engineering teams or technical staff in a project execution capacity.
- Ability to work independently and solve customer-facing problems.
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

WWT currently has an opportunity available for a Strategic Engagement Manager to support our EMEA Strategic Resourcing business.
The Strategic Engagement Manager, SEM, will work with internal partners and customers to provide qualified staff for our Deployment engagements. The manager will be responsible for the life-cycle of the resource from onboarding through project completion. The successful manager will also provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the engineers as they execute their assigned engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage consultants located in Europe and supporting customers across the globe.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to consultants as needed while on assigned engagements. Provide consultants reach back within the organization connecting them with appropriate resources to address any challenges they experience.
- Collaborate with Resource Managers to onboarding new consultants.
- In collaboration with project management, lead the following discussions through regular meetings with stakeholders and other internal team members,
- Extensions
- New opportunities
- Consultant utilization
- Ability to confidently communicate with external and internal clients effectively.
- Function as the escalation path for any issues for both consultants and stakeholders.
- Provide regular reporting to internal clients on the following,
- Project status
- Consultant utilization
- Hours billed against projects
- Encourage consultants to utilize SR tools and WWT Digital platform.
- Consistently reinforce WWT and our Core Values
- Effectively communicate changes and updates to internal clients through emails and regular meetings.
- Build successful relationships with entire Deployment Team members to include project managers and technical resources
- Advocate for consultants with internal customers, when required.
