About the Team:

The People & Workplace Experience function ensures CDP’s ‘People First’ ethos is a reality, both for our team and our guests. Spanning everything to do with our People and Culture, our physical workspaces and the ways we communicate, we ensure there is the focus, guidance and processes in place, leading to an engaged team who can deliver at their best.

The People Planning & Business Partnering team are a group of qualified and experienced specialists, governing the delivery of the People Plan, acting as strategic partners to Functional leaders, and ensuring interlock and seamless delivery into the various geos to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.

About this role:

Act as strategic Business Partner to Leadership Team members, and sit as part of their extended management teams. You’ll use your experience to orchestrate work with and through the wider people team to deliver longer term goals and change through the functions and regions to align with CDP strategic priorities.

What you will do:
• Deliver against functional priorities and provide proactive advisory support and coaching to the business in areas such as Workforce Planning, Organisation Design, Change Management, Talent Attraction and Onboarding, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Rewards planning etc. Utilizes HR best practice and knowledge of requirements across different jurisdictions to navigate delivery of organisational plans

• Provides strategic support and advice to functional leaders (client group to be confirmed) and joined up support to the organisation across multiple functions and time zones. Focusses on a great experience for managers and teams members.

• Ensures consistent application of CDP tools, skills and knowledge in respective teams through delivery of People Plan projects as required

• Acts as change management champion for the team, highlighting opportunities to change – aiming for simplicity and great experience.

Actively contribute to an effective and engaged team, clear on its purpose and contribution, by:

• Ensuring you know what is expected of you, through regular 1:1’s, having clear objectives in place, and participating in open and honest performance and development conversations.

• Ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace, where team members communicate openly, share knowledge so it can be used, and respect difference.

• Living the CDP Values and demonstrating the behaviours appropriate to your position.

Internal stakeholders include: functional leaders (LT) and their direct reports. People Experience team.

External stakeholders include: legal counsel, service providers.

We're looking for:

• Significant experience in HR and as a HRBP across multiple jurisdictions in a matrix environment.

• Experience of partnering within commercial sales / go-to-market teams, or with Data/Technology teams.

• Strong management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Experience across a number of HR disciplines / processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple geos.

• Detailed and conceptual thinking skills to analyze sophisticated problems and propose solutions.

• Strong attention to detail.

Salary and benefits: The salary banding for this role is £78,969 - £90,000/year, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, training and development, flexible working opportunities and other benefits.

Final offer amount depends on multiple factors such as candidates experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data.

This is a permanent role based at CDP’s London office. Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK and live within a commutable distance of the London office and be comfortable with 2 days in the office per week. We cannot sponsor this role.
