About You:

Do you have a passion for video games and are excited to work on some of the most established brands in the business?

Do you have strong creative agency experience or client-side experience?

Are you entrepreneurial, a decision maker and confident in both prioritising and managing your own time?

Are you experienced in managing client accounts and building great relationships?

Can you understand and meet client’s marketing communications needs at a strategic campaign level?

Confident in networking, delivering creds pitches and selling creative work?

Experienced in ensuring projects are kept on brief to deliver great results in line with both the clients’ needs and the needs of the business?

The Job:

Maverick is searching for a Strategic Account Manager/Director to further build our presence within the industry. You will continue to build our proposition and presence within the space, focusing on nurturing and developing client relationships by engaging existing clients in line with the company’s objectives.

You will be encouraged to take clients and own them from developing/delivering account plans, regular client contact, delivering against growth strategies, working with producers to ensure projects in the studio are delivered on brief/budget/quality, whilst also identifying new business opportunities outside of current client base that contributes the overall growth of the agency portfolio.

This is a varied role which will require a demonstrable passion & experience within gaming, supported by a background which may include experience within sales, account management, marketing or creative agencies.

Our head office is in London although being London based is not essential. With a client base that spans the globe, flexible and remote working is part of the norm and one we have adapted to in the current climate.

Requirements
  • Interest in advertising, video games and entertainment is a must.
  • Minimum 3 years agency (digital, production, creative, marketing) or client side experience.
  • Experience at pitches, selling proposals and creative ideas to clients
  • Experience in networking and a proven track record of developing/growing client accounts
  • Experience and confidence in dealing with clients at a senior level
  • Degree or equivalent in related area i.e. Advertising, Marketing, Business etc.
