Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Account Director based in Fleet, Jersey or Guernsey, to own some of our most important global relationships, each of which contribute a significant share of company revenue. You will have a demonstrable track record nurturing senior relationships within complex organisations, and of growing revenue within your account base.

As a provider of mission critical software, it is essential that we operate across teams and stakeholders at all levels within our clients. A Strategic Account Director ensures we understand our clients’ strategic and tactical objectives, and maintains an agreed strategy to execute across all time horizons. This will involve prioritising our resource strategy and running formal executive governance, with full buy-in from both sides. Success is consistently growing revenue and delivering transformative deals that excite our clients.

The Strategic Account Director will:

  • Achieve revenue targets
  • Prepare and execute per account growth plans, with success milestones
  • Ensure strategic plans and associated business value are articulated and agreed with clients, as well as aligned internally
  • Run formal Executive Governance
  • Develop and maintain executive relationships
  • Network across each organisation and ensure we understand our clients and the opportunity within them fully, as well as ensuring that our clients are raving fans
  • Be seen by your clients as providing business value to their strategy

Periodic international travel will be required.

Job Requirements:

  • You will have demonstrable experience managing top-tier clients, including maintaining relationships with senior executives
  • You will be hard-working and resilient, with skills managing cross-functional engagement teams
  • You will have a successful track record growing revenue around complex, mission-critical software solutions
  • You will be a tenacious solution sales expert, able to demonstrate discipline and professionalism across the sales cycle
