As a Strategic Account Director, you will act as a trusted advisor and consultative partner to our most critical clients. You will champion the Equifax brand, influence internal product development, and drive multi-year, high-value deals that demonstrate a clear return on investment and advance our clients' commercial objectives.

What you’ll do

  • Lead multi-functional teams (including Delivery and Operations) to execute high-ROI solutions and oversee complex client projects from inception to completion.

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for customer retention and new business acquisition, negotiating complex, high-value (£1m+) contracts.

  • Maintain Salesforce (SFDC) mastery as the single source of truth for all client engagement, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and strict adherence to Equifax Opportunity Hygiene Standards.

  • Analyze market, economic, regulatory, and technology trends to inform commercial strategies and influence Equifax's internal product development roadmap.

  • Provide people leadership and continuous team development to maximize commercial performance across multiple lines of business.

What experience you need
  • Proven track record as a large strategic account manager leading complex, high-value (£1m+) customer relationships in the Telco sector.

  • Direct experience managing an account within the top 20 of a company’s portfolio across multiple lines of business.

  • Demonstrated ability managing a team to successfully deliver multi-year sales in excess of £250,000.

  • Experience selling and leading enterprise consultancy projects with long, complex sales cycles and pricing negotiations.

  • Strong working knowledge of Consumer, Commercial, and Marketing data ecosystems.

  • Track record of successfully presenting to, and negotiating with, senior-level executives and decision makers.

  • Relevant university degree pass or equivalent educational qualification.

What could set you apart
  • Exceptional personal gravitas and proven resilience when navigating dynamic market shifts and regulatory frameworks.

  • Deep understanding of internal product strategy alignment to bridge the gap between client demands and technical feasibility.

  • Demonstrated success in creating sales efficiencies, process improvements, or automations by using or building AI tools to optimize account planning and territory management.
