STILL Materials Handling Ltd is part of the KION Group, one of the World’s leading manufacturer of forklift trucks, warehouse and material handling equipment. We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Manager Key Accounts to look after this nationally based role.
The main focus of this role is to support the UK Sales Director in developing and delivering the UK growth strategy to achieve the required company goals.We offer:

As the Senior Manager Key Accounts, reporting to the Sales Director, the key focus will be on achieving agreed levels of profitability and producing a win/win situation for all parties, to grow New, Used, Advanced Application and Rental revenue opportunities, ensuring consistent customer focus is achieved whilst ensuring that STILL UK retains its valuable customer portfolio through active account management

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve agreed annual National Account targets of selling STILL product portfolio.
  • To grow New, Used, Advanced Application and STR revenue opportunities, ensuring consistent customer focus is achieved.
  • To support the Sales Director in agreeing sales targets for the National Accounts. personnel planning, recruiting and sales strategy
  • To Provide leadership and support for the National Account team, coaching, mentoring, and monitoring to a) maximise their potential to achieve agreed company targets, b) develop performance and management any underperformance proactively, c) completion of employee dialogues and OCTR information.
  • To ensure consistent communication of both company wide, and customer related information throughout the team, and senior leadership
  • To ensure that STILL UK retains its valuable customer portfolio through active account management.
  • To work alongside all departments to ensure that customer expectations are wherever possible met.
  • To manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
  • To handle business enquiries and issues received from customers and the STILL team, attaining a high level of customer service, achieving agreed levels of profitability and producing a win/win situation for all parties.
  • To demonstrate strong commercial awareness of both the STILL brand and our competitors, providing information for market analysis and further opportunities.
  • To personally and ensure the team use and update the CRM system.
  • To record, analyse, report, and administer according to systems and requirements.
  • To assist with the creation of a harmonious and productive sales environment by working closely with other members of the sales team.
  • To negotiate with customers on sales agreements and contracts for the supply of STILL products ensuring that all internal parties and suppliers involved in the creation of a sales and service contract are aware of the detail and that the package is in the best interests of all concerned.
  • To demonstrate STILL products and services to existing and prospect customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Establish strong long-term client relationships and ensure we regular communicate with key Customer’s and respond any to specific queries. Assisting the team to evaluate customer needs and develop solutions and innovative ideas.
  • Quickly and effectively meet customer needs, handle complaints and issues, and act as liaisons between our internal UK and International teams to identify and solve these needs / issues.
  • To be involved in continuous improvement of processes and procedures with other team members as requested.
  • Be the pivotal link with UK National Accounts and International Accounts Teams, to support leverage the maximum growth of STILL International Account portfolio.
  • Project manage fleet projects on a National and International basis, developing strategic account plans to share the knowledge of the customer with all stakeholders.
  • Conduct strategic Key Account development meetings, with National, International and Business development teams, focusing on the development of short-term, mid-term and long-term prospects, to enable STILL UK to develop its market share.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators for defined Key Accounts and based on gained insight define improvement or corrective actions.
  • Regularly demonstrate Company values of Integrity, Courage, Collaboration & Excellence.

Who are we looking for?

Must have a proven track record of working within an Intenational and Account Managment background, preferably within the forklift or material handling sector. We are looking for someone who can show previous success in achieving sales targets, negotiation and problem solving in a Key Account environment and is self-motivated. If you have experience in this area but are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

You will need to be commercially minded, IT literate, have excellent communication skills.
