About Helix by Q2: Helix is a best-in-class modern banking core system designed to embed financial products into everyday consumer applications. Our high-scale, high-volume system boasts industry-leading API response times. We take pride in our innovative solutions and are looking for an equally passionate full-stack Senior Software Engineer to support our Data Engineering team.
The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft technologies. This role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and high performance across platforms.
A Typical Day:
- Adhere fanatically to lean software development and continuous delivery methodologies
- Research, architect, and build sub-systems that successfully integrate with new and existing platforms
- Dissolve requirements into meaningful, manageable units of work
- Collaborate with the team to resolve production issues
- Thrive on a small team of highly skilled, motivated peers
- Passion for applying good design principles while exercising pragmatism to keep deadlines
- Experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle
- Experience engineering software in a service-oriented architecture
- Communicate and document efforts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in Full-stack Software Development
- 2+ years of experience consuming/creating JSON-based, RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in C#, SQL and .NET
- Experience in Python
- Experience with Database programming and design
- Experience in Frontend development
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to organize and plan work independently is critical
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- Occasional availability for on-call/emergency support
- Ability to work flexible hours when necessary for deadlines and off-hours installations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in FINTECH/ Banking as a Service or relevant area
- Experience and strong interest in Data Engineering principles and technologies such as Data Warehouse, DBT, Snowflake, ETL
