  • Distributed Systems Testing: Experience designing tests for resilience, fault tolerance, and data consistency across distributed, cloud-native architectures.

  • Observability and Testability: Expert use of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) to validate system quality in production and pre-production environments.

  • Expert level skills in combining quality engineering with the ability to quickly absorb complex business and technology concepts, and translate them into actionable QA strategies and delivery plans

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leadership and principal engineers.

  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business impact and long-term goals.

Desirable Skills
  • Domain Expertise: Experience with ultra-low latency (ULL) trading platforms or large-scale financial applications in capital markets.

  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong command of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

  • CI/CD Leadership: Experience architecting and optimising CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical services.
