The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio
At Personio, we transform the way millions of people experience work every day. Our flexible platform allows companies to manage all their HR processes (recruiting, employee onboarding, time tracking & absence management, performance & development, compensation, payroll, etc.) in one place and automate time-consuming tasks.
As a Staff Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in a key pillar of the business. Being a Product Manager at Personio is a strategic and rewarding role that will work cross-functionally with customers, other technical teams, and senior leadership to ensure a best in class product experience as well as looking at opportunities for expansion. You will be responsible for developing strategy in different areas of our product.
As we continue to scale our outstanding Product org and developing existing products, as well as building groundbreaking features to our ambitious roadmap and suits of applications, there are several areas which we are looking for strategic Product Managers to own. Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of the market as well as our customers, their pains and jobs-to-be-done
  • Systematically analyze user feedback and usage data gathered qualitatively through customer interaction and from quantitative sources
  • Create and align teams around strategic goals, relevant KPIs and a respective product roadmap often across Domain boundaries
  • Plan, enable, and execute against a product roadmap based on an objectively prioritized backlog that spans multiple teams
  • Lead specific complex topics within the product that extend across Domain boundaries
  • Decompose complex problems in close collaboration with Engineering and Design counterparts and write clear specifications that drive direction
  • Manage product delivery in an agile setting and guide your team in all sprint activities


Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You have minimum of 7 years in product management within a B2B or B2C multi-product company, specializing in the development of global customer-facing products
  • You have a proven track record of navigating complex product areas, utilizing data, competitive intelligence, and user insights to define effective strategies and roadmaps
  • You have demonstrated success in conceptualizing, developing, launching, and scaling platform-backed products within a fast-paced environment
  • You have strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to support assumptions, formulate business cases, and establish OKRs
  • You have the ability to think big yet pay attention to details, exhibiting a strong bias for action and the capacity to manage multiple competing priorities, fostering a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You have a deep sense of accountability and ownership, fostering collaborative, result-oriented work
