Team mission

The Analytics department’s mission is to enable the Marketing organisation to take action based on data. We work on a variety of problems and datasets as members of cross-functional mission teams. We take ownership of the entire analytics funnel, from exploration through recommendations to impact measurement, and take pride in the insights we generate.

This specific position is within our Marketing Analytics team whose objective is to help our marketing scale our investments towards the most incremental and loyal customers. This is a very strategic position within the team as the Analyst will look at solving cross-channel problems in order to accelerate our growth. This means for example addressing the best strategy to grow our display and mid-funnel spend and understanding the behaviour of our repeat audiences.

Your mission
  • Develop quantitative analysis and statistical models to evaluate and steer marketing decisions
  • Propose and defend strategic recommendations to our top marketing leads
  • Setup and analyse marketing experiments to drive strategic decision making
  • Explore large datasets, give meaning to data and numbers, identify opportunities and issues, and present findings to stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve our marketing measurement tools (Attribution, experimentation framework, Customer lifetime value…)
  • Serve as a liaison between the marketing teams and the data engineering team
  • Mentor others in the skills needed for this role
Your toolkit
  • 8+ years of relevant experience interpreting data in an analytics, data science or business intelligence role
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for analysis (eg, pandas, scikit-learn, pyspark)
  • Ability to understand user behavior and meaning behind the numbers and a track record in sharing insights to business stakeholders
  • Prior exposure to digital and performance marketing or SEO, especially data-driven platforms such as Google Ads and Meta.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Looker, Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks)
  • Desire to work in an international environment, with minimal direction and with highly engaged individuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Extras that give you an edge
  • A track record in solving marketing and growth challenges and influencing decisions/driving business results
  • Experience in understanding and modelling marketing journeys
  • Experience with big data tools (e.g. Spark, Hive) is a plus
How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary
  • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development
  • Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year
  • A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time.
  • Opportunities to collaborate and socialize with team members through quarterly team events and yearly company-wide events
  • Monthly transportation and fitness budget
  • Discounts for you, your friends, and family on GetYourGuide activities
  • Language reimbursement program
  • Health and wellness benefits

And more…
