Founded in 2019, Uncapped is a fintech company focused on providing working capital to SMEs in North America and Europe.

We leverage multiple data sources to make credit decisions faster, safer and more conveniently. We are working with the largest platforms in the world, including Amazon and Walmart, and strive to be the best alternative lender globally.

What you will do ✍️

As a backend developer, you will own the services related to the context of your work, especially building and operating high-quality systems for the exacting standards of the financial services sector. We want you to improve the quality of our systems and suggest ways we could achieve it.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest microservices technologies and best practices, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of innovation in the field.
• Work effectively as part of a self-managed team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and a commitment to team dynamics in Kanban methodologies with fewer meetings and more focus time.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservice architectures for high-performance applications using the latest Java and Spring framework versions.
• And all this using real continuous deployment processes that take 10 minutes.

Our Tech Stack 💻

You will have a chance to work with these technologies:

• Java 21
• Spring Boot/Cloud
• GCP
• Dockerized image on Kubernetes
• Database suited for problem (SQL/NoSQL)

Who you are 👀

• A minimum C1 level of English proficiency is required.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in modern Java frameworks and methodologies, with a strong focus on the Spring framework.
• Ability to define scope of the work and make it happen
• Coaching & Writing high quality automated tests
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with occasional in-person meetings in small self managed teams built with engineers and product owners.
• Passion for Java programming and a desire to make a positive impact in the software industry using the latest technologies
